    Hi Leslie,

First of all, I just love your name, which is a Scottish place name meaning ‘garden of holly.’ The holly is a type of plant with red berries, small whitish flowers and glossy leaves with serrated edges thats usually associated with the Christmas season. But I digress…

My son, Andrew Whitmer, told me to check out your website because he knows of my love for photography and he said you were an ‘amazing artist.’ I concur!

I chose to respond to this particular photo because Molly’s mom, Sally Dubinsky, is my best friend and the biggest fan of my life! ‘It’s a small world after all.’

Sally and I attend the same Wednesday evening Bible Study and share notes on wedding planning, as my daughter just got married last August. I am so excited about Molly and Jeff’s upcoming wedding.

I really enjoyed all of your photos…you’ve got quite an eye. I think its true that the eye is the window to the soul and yours’ reveals depth and diversity…keep up the good work!

I think I’m planning to enter my best photo in a local competition this summer, its from my first and only trip to Niagara Falls. I tried to enter it last summer, but I missed the deadline, so they told me I would have to wait.

Also, Andrew encouraged me to check out the possibility of hiring you to take pictures of my new horse, a 7-month old filly named ‘My Sascha’…have you photographed horses before? Sascha is an absolutely beautiful black and white Pinto and a N.A.S.H. (North American Spotted Haflinger) and is the inspiration behind a vision I received called ‘Operation NorthStar.’ In fact I’m writing a story I’ve entitled, ‘Polaris: A Parable of Providence.’

If interested, you may be just the person to ‘photo journal’ this amazing vision I’ve been given to open a transitional home for women leaving prison called ‘The Fifth Sparrow: A New LIFE in the Father’s CARE.’ This will be a ‘covenant care ministry’ using ‘Care Mares and Equine Therapy’ to “rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated…and renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations” (Isaiah 61) before these women return to their families and communities.

I may also be interested in a video production and I saw that you have experience in that area as well. Let me know of your responses to any or all of this information, okay Leslie. I do not believe in ‘coincidence’ as I am definitely a ‘providential kinda girl’…just ask Adam Keck and he’ll tell you the story about making his decision to attend Brown University, located in Providence, Rhode Island. (I was his high school guidance counselor, as well as, Dennis’ and Andrew’s)

You can email me, or call (330.402.9812), or friend me on facebook and check out my photos.

    Thanks,
    Lyn
