on to the next wedding! molly & jeff got married a few weeks ago at old north church in canfield. they had a beautiful & emotional ceremony then afterward, they had their reception at the beautiful lake club in poland. here, the wedding party had a laugh as we walked down to take photos by the lake. as always, stay tuned as the editing process continues….

it’s that time of the year!

katie & craig got hitched last sunday in a beautiful, intimate ceremony at st. james meeting house in boardman park. my dear friend and photographer extraordinaire danny doherty joined me for an afternoon with this lovely couple. collectively we shot more than 3,000 photos! I’m just beginning to sift through them, but I’ve been itching to post one of the beautiful, blushing bride…. enjoy! and stay tuned!

on a hot summer afternoon last summer, jimmy hagan and I spent hours in an abandoned tire factory on youngstown’s north side. armed with boots and cameras and pretty girls and pretty dresses, we made a series of photographs. originally, these were to be merely fashion photos: beautiful people in a gritty environment . but what we did that day transcended fashion — it became art.

now, our images finally have a home. they are part of the first curated exhibit at the lemon grove in downtown youngstown, which features the work of six other local artists. the show is called rust_rococo, and seeks to “undress a sensual aesthetic from the ruin around us.” this is my first show, and I’m just thrilled. stop down to the LG and take a look at my work and the work of other talented artists in the area.

this is lia. she’ll be a senior at cardinal mooney high school this fall. she’s a lifeguard, has two brothers and a sister, loves shopping, and wants to go into nursing. it was raining this morning when we were first scheduled to go out, but it eased up after an hour or so and stayed dry for our shoot–thank goodness! we walked all over downtown youngstown and had a wonderful time. isn’t she lovely?
